Ernst Herzner (born April 3, 1952 in Hamburg ) is a German musician .

Life

Ernst Herzner began his musical career in the Haus der Jugend Lattenkamp in Hamburg. For the first time he took part in a regionally known band, the Why Five , which can also be heard on his LP Ausgereglich Bananen (sampler) with the titles Mendocino and Proud Mary . He then switched to Zarathustra , who achieved a certain degree of popularity in northern Germany. After the release of the first LP, the band broke up. In 1978 he could be heard again with the band Ernest and ... , which had a regular audience in the Hamburg area, but did not get beyond that.

It was only as the singer of Novalis in 1985 and the release of the LP Nach uns die Flut that Herzner achieved a higher level of awareness. Various radio and television appearances as well as a tour of Germany were carried out, but after a year Novalis broke up for good. This last LP was produced by Christoph Busse , who achieved great success with Hans Hartz , especially with the title The white pigeons are tired . Busse then produced Herzner and wrote several titles for him, which, however, met with little response. A few television programs were only visited with the title Sturmvögel and the title was voted number 1 in the first broadcast of Lieder as beautiful as the north . In addition, Herzner recorded several promotional songs , including Hier ist DEA - This is where they fill up , which was produced by John Groves . This title ran in television commercials for ten years .

In 1995 Herzner ended his musical path and only occasionally joined a few bands to pass the time.
