Ernst Ludwig Franke

Ernst Ludwig Franke (born August 23, 1886 in Vienna , Austria-Hungary ; died December 28, 1948 there ) was an Austrian painter, poster artist and commercial artist.

Life

Ernst Ludwig Franke created posters, newspaper advertisements and trademarks. In 1924 he was a co-founder of the Association of Austrian Commercial Graphics and was its vice-president. Franke took part in the 1936 Olympic Games art competition.
