Ernst Müller-Troschel

Ernst Müller-Troschel (born December 8, 1926 ) is a German doctor and former medical officer in the Bundeswehr . He was there with the rank of admiralty from April 1, 1984 to March 31, 1989 chief physician of the Bundeswehr Central Hospital in Koblenz . He was the last soldier in the Bundeswehr still serving in the war. Previously, he served with the rank fleet doctor from October 1981 to March 1984 chief physician of the former Military Hospital Hamm .

On September 25, 2006, he was awarded the Gold Cross of Honor of the German Armed Forces for his commitment to Soldat Tumor Aid Koblenz eV .
