Shoulder and sleeve badges

The rank badge for fleet doctors is essentially the same as for sea captains . Career badges in the form of a staff of Aesculapia are used to distinguish the fleet doctors . In the career badge for doctors, the snake winds in a double twist , for dentists in a single twist around the staff.

Others

The rank designation for air force and army uniform carriers of the same rank is Oberstarzt . With regard to authority, appointment , pay , the subordinate and superordinate ranks, very similarly also with regard to the positions, fleet doctors and senior officers are equated.
