Salary Regulations A

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Salary Regulations A of the Federal Salary Act (BBesG; “Federal Salary Regulations A”) and the state salary laws contain the offices of civil servants and their salary groups . The offices are assigned to the salary groups according to their value. The federal salary order A also contains the ranks of the soldiers ( professional soldiers and temporary soldiers ) and their salary groups, whereby the ranks are assigned to the salary groups according to their value.

Basically, salary groups A 2 to A 16 exist in salary regulations A. As of April 1, 2020, salary group A 2 ceased to exist in federal salary regulations A 2. In salary regulations A, some other lower salary groups were omitted. The salary regulations A can, in addition to the assignments of the offices to the salary groups, also contain general preliminary remarks, regulations on job allowances and other allowances as well as on the official titles.

The amount of the remuneration of the individual grades differs depending on the pay scale. After the federalism reform in 2006, the federal states were given the legal authority to pay their own civil servants, salaries have diverged.

The official titles of civil servants in salary order A are given below. Office designations printed in italics are basic office designations that usually require an addition (e.g. construction , forest , government , city ).
