The fleet pharmacist is one of the ranks of the German armed forces for naval uniform wearers . The legal basis is the order of the Federal President on the rank designations and uniforms of soldiers and the Soldiers Act .

Rank badge

The rank badge for fleet pharmacists is essentially the same as for sea captains . Career badges in the form of a staff of Aesculapia are used to distinguish the fleet pharmacists . In the career badge for pharmacists, the snake winds twice over a pharmacist bowl (around a not shown or imaginary stick).

Others

The rank designation for air force and army uniforms of the same rank is Oberstapotheker . With regard to authority, appointment , pay , the subordinate and superordinate ranks, very similarly also with regard to the positions, fleet pharmacists and chief pharmacists are on the same footing. Both ranks were newly created with the sixth order of the Federal President on the rank designations and the uniform of soldiers from May 5, 1966.
