Ernst Marwede

Ernst Marwede (born July 15, 1873 in Altona , † after November 1920) was a German manager .

Life

Marwede attended Lyceum 1 in Hanover and studied insurance science in Göttingen . From 1899 to 1905 he worked for the Aachener Feuer-Versicherungs-Gesellschaft in Aachen (today AachenMünchener ), from 1905 to 1907 for the special management of this insurance company in Munich . From 1907 to 1911 he served in the management of the Bayerische Versicherungsbank there.

From 1911 to 1919 Marwede was general agent (general agent) of Colonia insurance for Bavaria. He was appointed chief representative for the territory of the Kingdom of Bavaria in place of the late Albert Hoechstetter in Munich.

From 1919 he was director of the Cologne fire insurance company Colonia and the reinsurance company Colonia in Cologne .

On November 16, 1920, Marwede succeeded Franz Müller as director of Victoria Feuer-Versicherungs-AG .

Marwede was captain of the Landwehr and in 1911 lived in Munich, Neuhauserstraße 10/1.
