Ernst Theodor Mohl

Ernst Theodor Mohl (* 1928 ) is a German economist and social scientist and university professor.

Ernst Theodor Mohl received his doctorate in 1972 from the Technical University of Darmstadt with a thesis on the history of the stock corporation. He taught as a professor at the Sociological Institute of the former University of Hanover (now Leibniz University of Hanover ). Mohl is considered a Marxist social scientist; he was close to the Frankfurt School . He mainly taught on questions of political economy .

At the time of the extra-parliamentary opposition , Mohl led a training group in Frankfurt am Main together with Hans-Jürgen Krahl , which was so heavily attended that it had to be split up. The Mohl Group was the focal point of the company project group , from which the Revolutionary Struggle later emerged.
