Life

Stummer, who learned the trade of a baker, grew up with his mother in a Döblingen community building, then came to a youth home and was imprisoned for the first time at the age of 15. He received his first major sentence at the age of 22 when he was sentenced to six months of heavy imprisonment. In 1976 an unsolved search for him was made via file number XY ... He served his last prison sentence, from which he was released in 2004, in the Simmering Prison .

Stummer published the "men's magazine Sewuz" and ran a hostess service. In 2009 he published his life story in the book "The Burglar King", which was published by VF Collector-Verlag. In 2010 he performed together with the ex-head of the security office Max Edelbacher on the cabaret in Kaisermühlner Werkl.

In 1999, Stummer applied for early retirement. He was denied this because he did not have the necessary 240 months of insurance. He challenged this in all instances. On November 4, 2002, he complained to Austria via the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) that the time of his work in prison should be counted towards his pension entitlement (Application No. 37452/02). This was rejected by the ECHR in a public hearing in 2011.

In December 2012, the now 75-year-old was sentenced again to 18 months of unconditional imprisonment for theft at the Vienna Regional Court.

Mute was married twice.
