Ersin Kaya (born July 5, 1993 ) is an Australian football player .

Career

Kaya, the son of Turkish immigrants, was trained at the Australian Institute of Sport in 2009 before making a few appearances in the Victorian Premier League (VPL) for the Turkish club Hume City FC in the 2010 season . In the 2011 season he rose with the Whittlesea Zebras from the Victorian State League Division 1 to the VPL, in which the team competed in 2012 under the name Moreland Zebras. Kaya scored five goals in 21 appearances over the course of the season, but the club clearly missed relegation.

With his performance with the Zebras, Kaya recommended himself for inclusion in the junior team of the professional club Melbourne Heart , for which he was active in the 2012/13 season. In the youth team, Kaya was used by coach Joe Palatsides , under whom he had already played at Moreland, both in the two full- back positions and in the outer positions in midfield. Because of this flexibility, after the failures of Ben Garuccio , Mate Dugandzic and Nick Kalmar, he was called up by the professional team's coach, John Aloisi , for the away game on December 27, 2012 against Wellington Phoenix and came in the 2-3 defeat a 20-minute mission in the A-League .

After the end of the National Youth League season, Kaya returned to Hume City in the VPL in March 2013.

2009 traveled Kaya with an Australian U-17 team for two friendlies against Turkey in the framework of the ANZAC Days were played, after Canakkale .
