Ersoy Yildirim
Ersoy Yildirim (born January 10, 1962 ) is a Turkish writer who lives in Switzerland . His poems and short stories have been published in Turkish and have not yet been translated into other languages.
Life
Ersoy Yildirim was born in Sariz Daridere. He attended elementary school, high school and high school in Kadirli (at that time still part of Adana ). Ersoy Yildirim lived in Turkey until the military coup in Turkey on September 12, 1980 and the army declared a state of emergency , after which he settled in Switzerland.
For a long time he concentrated on poems and short stories . In 2003 the first edition of Siirler - düs hayat appeared , which did not reach a large circulation. Then there were other editions with poems and short stories. Cennetten kopan dansti Tamara was the first book by Ersoy Yildirim. In January 2011, Kimliksiz Mavi appeared .
With the help of Deluxe IT, a project has been underway since November 2010 that publishes poems and short stories on its official website on a weekly basis. These entries are intended to address migrants in German-speaking countries.
In the film YOU & I, Ersoy Yildirim took on the role of the family man. The film won the "Swiss Film Prize 2012".
