Earned income

The earned income or labor income consists of income (in the form of money, in kind or, rarely, services ) that a person receives for performing paid or self-employed work . It includes the amounts that this person receives either as a direct result of their professional activity ( wages or income from self-employment) or due to their professional situation (employment-related pension benefits).

Income from work does not include income from property , social assistance , transfer payments , etc.
