Erwin "Eiermann" Förschler (born December 2, 1913 in Stuttgart , † January 23, 1984 in Boeblingen ) was a German football player .

Career

Erwin Förschler started his career at SpVgg Feuerbach . In 1935 he moved to the Stuttgarter Kickers , but he was banned at least until March 26, 1936 after his move. This meant that the negotiations went to the federal court .

During the period with the Kickers from 1936 to 1943, the native of Stuttgart was very successful and completed 13 games in the finals for the German championship and scored one goal. From 1945 to 1948 Förschler played first division football in the Oberliga Süd , where he played 48 more games and scored two more goals.

Förschler got his nickname "Eiermann" because of his technical skills.

Private

Erwin Förschler had at least three cousins. Kurt Förschler , one of them, also played soccer at TSV Georgii Allianz Stuttgart .
