Ore body

Ore body is a generic term from deposit science for the various forms of accumulation of ore minerals . It is sometimes used synonymously with ore deposit .

Ore bodies are divided into tunnels , impregnations , bearings , lentils , soaps , skarne and sticks .

Depending on the location of their formation, a distinction is made between autochthonous and allochthonous ore bodies.
