Es Pontàs

Es Pontàs is a rock gate in the sea of ​​the southeast part of the Balearic island of Mallorca . The naturally created "bridge" is located directly on the coastline between Cala Santanyí and Cala Llombards in the municipality of Santanyí .

Es Pontàs is used by climbers . In the summer of 2006, Chris Sharma first climbed a deep water solo route here , which was only repeated twice until 2018 and is considered the most difficult deep water solo route in the world. The route is, among other things, the subject of the film King Lines .
