Architecture and history

Construction of the church began in 1905. Joan Rubió , a student of Antoni Gaudí, worked as the architect . The church was built in neo-Gothic style. The church remained unfinished due to financial problems. Construction work stopped in the 1930s. A large part of the outer walls including the windows and rosettes were built. However, the roof in particular was not completed.

The church is used for cultural open-air events.
