Església de Sant Cerni

The Església de Sant Cerni is a small church in Nagol in the Principality of Andorra . It is located around two kilometers west of Llumeneres halfway to Sant Julià de Lòria on a hill on the CS-120 road. From there you have a special view of the valley of Sant Julià de Lòria.

The church was built according to the typical architectural scheme of all Andorran churches in the 11th century. The rectangular nave with a semicircular apse has a wooden roof covered with slate and a bell tower with a double opening. The stem probably wasn't added until modern times. Part of the Romanesque decoration from the 15th century has been preserved. The altarpiece in Romanesque art style is dedicated to the patron of the church, the first bishop of Toulouse Saturninus . The church was entered as a monument on the Bé d'Interès Cultural List.
