Llumeneres is the smallest officially registered village in the Principality of Andorra . It belongs to the parish of Sant Julià de Lòria, five kilometers away, and is located on the river of the same name.

Llumeneres has had only one registered and statistically recorded resident since 2009 until today (as of March 2014). The place can be reached via a winding country road CS-120 through the valley of Sant Julià de Lòria, where the road ends directly at the Riu de Llumeneres . The cross-country skiing offers in winter are particularly important for tourism . There is a small chapel at the inhabited house , the Capilla de la Virgen de las Neus de Llumeneres . The founding documents with the seal of Bishop Francisco Fernández de Xátiva date from 1769.
