The Esnagami Lake is a lake in Thunder Bay District in the Canadian province of Ontario .
Esnagami Lake is 100 km east-northeast of Lake Nipigon in the area of the Canadian Shield . The lake has a length in east-west direction of 19 km, an area of about 73 km² and lies at an altitude of 303 m . In the eastern part of the lake there are three larger islands: Louella Island , Bill Island , Ara Island . The Esnagami River , a right tributary of the Little Current River , drains the lake on the northeast bank.
The settlement of Nakina is located 15 km southeast of the lake. Esnagami Lake is a destination for fishing tourists who mainly catch glass eyed perch and pike here . The remote lake is usually reached by seaplane as it has no road connection.
