Esoteric are a British funeral doom metal band.
history
Esoteric was founded in Birmingham in 1992 . The band made their debut in 1994 with an 82-minute demo cassette, followed by their debut album Epistemological Despondency . Immediately after the album was recorded, the original drummer Darren left the band. The 1997 published, highly acclaimed by the critics second album The Pernicious Enigma was therefore with a drum machine was added only later met with Keith York, a new drummer for the band. On the EP Metamorphogenesis , released in 1999, the singer Tom Kvallskoll from the Norwegian band Paradigma sang as a guest . In 2004 her album Subconscious Dissolution into the Continuum was released , with The Maniacal Vale in 2008 a double album. The band rarely plays live.
