ESOX was a German-language magazine from the Hamburg year Top Special Verlag , which is dedicated to the topic of predator fishing.

title

Esox is the Latin term for the genus of pike , which belongs to Germany's most popular predatory fish , the pike (Esox lucius).

history

The first issue appeared in April 1992. ESOX has been part of Blinker magazine since October 2018.

Initially, the ESOX was designed as a sister magazine to Blinker magazine for all-round anglers. For this purpose, the practical part of the magazine was taken over by Blinker, which also appears in Top Special Verlag.

As of October 2009, ESOX was a fishing magazine of its own in terms of content, devoted exclusively to modern predatory fish angling and completed Top Special Verlag's portfolio in the special-interest angling segment. ESOX has been part of Blinker-Magazin since October 2018 .
