Espina is a hamlet in the municipality of Vegadeo in the autonomous region of Asturias in Spain .

Espina has 32 inhabitants (2011) on an area of 9.89 km². The next larger town is Vegadeo , the capital of the municipality of the same name ten kilometers away. The hamlet belongs to the Parroquia Paramios .
