Esqarial is a technical death metal band from Wroclaw ( Poland ) that was founded in 1991.

history

The band was formed in 1991. After a few rehearsals, they released their first live demo called Refuse a year later . However, due to the live recording, this was only of poor quality. In 1994 another demo called A Conspiracy of Silence was recorded in the digital studio in Breslau . The demo contained the same songs as Refuse , but had a better quality due to the better recording options and some line-up changes had taken place. The demo was released via Baron Records . The demo was able to attract increasing attention to the band. Appearances with Acid Drinkers , Betrayer , Dragon and Magnus followed .

After the release of this demo, there were again changes in the line-up on guitar and drums. At the end of 1997, the recording of their debut album Amorphous began in the Fonoplastykon Studio . The album was released in 1998 through Pagan Records . In 1999 the band was already working on new material, but the recordings could only take place in 2000 for financial reasons. The recordings took place again in the Fonoplastykon Studio. In June 2001 the band signed a contract with the Polish label Empire Records and they released Discoveries that same year.

The label released two more albums in 2002 with Inheritance and 2004 with Klassika .

The album Burned Ground Strategy , released in 2008, was released through Propaganda Promotion .

style

The style of the pieces is comparable to the works of Death or Skeptic , although Esqarial is not quite as technically demanding. The use of progressive elements and quickly played blast beats is also characteristic .
