The house vinegar lane 2 is a Grade II listed farm buildings in Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

location

The building stands on the north side of the small Essiggasse and is the last remnant of the historical development of the street. To the north of the house there is an extensive parking lot, to which the gate of the house serves as an access. In the past, the address at Essiggasse 2 existed for the building.

Architecture and history

In the lower part of the house, which faces the street and is registered in the local monument register, there is brickwork. On the east side there is a round arched gate entrance. At the end of the 20th century, there was still a half-timbered upper storey from around 1680 above the masonry . During renovation work it was removed and replaced with a concrete structure. The roof has been completely renewed. To the rear, which has also been replaced by a modern construction, the building is open and serves as a covered storage space for vehicles.
