The Estádio José Gomes is a football stadium in the Reboleira district of the Portuguese district town of Amadora .

history

It was completed in 1957 and seats 11,500. The facility is home to the Estrela Amadora soccer club . In 1990 the first leg of the Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira took place here, and in 2009 it was a venue for some games as part of the Jogos da Lusofonia .
