The second Jogos da Lusofonia (German 2nd Lusophonie Games) took place from July 10th to 19th, 2009 in Lisbon , Portugal . The multisport event of the Community of Portuguese-Speaking Countries was organized by the Association of Portuguese-Speaking Olympic Committees (ACOLOP) . Participants were the nine members of ACOLOP ( Angola , Brazil , Guinea-Bissau , Cape Verde , Macau / China, Mozambique , East Timor , Portugal and São Tomé and Príncipe ) and three associated members ( Equatorial Guinea , India and Sri Lanka ). In the 2009 Games, competitions were held in nine different sports.
