The Estadio Adolfo López Mateos is mainly used for baseball and soccer games. The professional baseball team Broncos de Reynosa from the Liga Mexicana de Béisbol has played its home games in the stadium with interruptions since 1963. In 1969 and 1981 the LMB finals took place in the Adolfo López Mateos stadium.
Until 2007, the soccer team Tigres B from the second-rate Primera División 'A' , and throughout 2008 the Zorros de Reynosa from the third-rate Segunda Division de Mexico played in the stadium.
