The Estadio Gonzalo Pozo Ripalda is a multifunctional stadium in the south of Quito , Pichincha Province , Ecuador . It is mostly used for soccer games and is the home stadium of the SD Aucas . The stadium seats 22,000, was built in 1987 and opened in 1994.
The band Iron Maiden played a concert at the stadium as part of their Somewhere Back in Time World Tour on March 10, 2009.
