The Estadio Juan Nepomuceno López , often referred to simply as the Estadio Juan N López , is a football stadium in La Piedad , Michoacan , Mexico . It was opened in 1994 and seats 15,000. It serves as the home ground for CF La Piedad .

Surname

The stadium name pays tribute to the former owner of the site, Don Juan Nepomuceno López, who in 1951 provided the land in the city center on which the Campo Cavadas was built, which CF La Piedad, founded in the same year, has been home to for more than 40 years served. Cavadas (also Cabadas according to another spelling ) refers to part of the name of the city that is officially called La Piedad de Cavadas .
