Estadio Municipal de Linarejos

Estadio Municipal de Linarejos is a sports arena in the Spanish industrial and commercial city of Linares in the northwest of the province of Jaén in the autonomous region of Andalusia .

The sports complex was built next to the former municipal stadium, on Avenida 1º de Mayo s / nº , and inaugurated on August 15, 1956. The approximately 37,000 m² sports facility includes a soccer field (106.5 × 70.5 meters), three tennis courts and two hard court basketball facilities. The arena, which has been equipped with floodlights and seats for 9,000 spectators since the 1970s, was expanded in 1990 and today has around 12,000 seats. The stadium has been home to the Linares CD since 1990 and the Linares Deportivo football club since 2009 . The sports arena is operated by the Ayuntamiento de Linares .
