The Estadio Ramón "Tahuichi" Aguilera Costas is a multifunctional stadium in Santa Cruz de la Sierra , Andrés Ibáñez Province , Santa Cruz Department , Bolivia . It is mostly used for soccer games, etc. a. by the clubs Club Blooming , Oriente Petrolero , Club Deportivo Universidad Cruceña and Club Destroyers . The stadium has a capacity of 38,000 seats and was built in 1939. It was also one of the official stadiums of the 1997 Copa América and several international tournaments such as the Copa Libertadores and the Copa Sudamericana . It used to be known as the Estadio William Bendeck , but was named after the Bolivian soccer player Ramón Aguilera Costas in 1980 .
