Estel is an Italian furniture manufacturer .
History and organization
The company was founded in 1937 by Alfredo Stella. The office furniture division was founded in 1980, in which Estel rose to become the market leader in Italy in the 1990s .
In addition to the Italian home market, Estel is now represented with locations in Europe, North and South America and Asia. The German subsidiary is based in Munich .
design
Designers who have worked for Estel include Oscar Niemeyer , Karim Rashid , Ross Lovergrove , Ora Ito and Stefano Gallizioli.
In the new Apple Campus 2 , Estel is installing an earthquake-proof partition that runs through the circular building. The construction is considered technically complex and is estimated to cost up to 100 million.
