Esther de Cáceres
Esther de Cáceres (born September 4, 1903 in Montevideo , † February 3, 1971 ibid) was a Uruguayan poet.
Life
Cáceres completed a medical degree at the University of Montevideo until 1929, but then worked for many years as a professor of literature. She wrote an extensive Christian lyric work. In 1933, 1934 and 1941 she was awarded the Premio Nacional de Literatura .
