The Eswatini Observer , spelling : ESWATINI Observer , (formerly Swazi Observer ) is a daily newspaper in Eswatini . It was founded in 1981 and is owned by Tibiyo Taka Ngwane , an Eswatin state fund currently owned by King Mswati III. held in trust for the Eswatin nation and separate from the government. It is based in Mbabane , with further editorial offices in Manzini , Siteki , Piggs Peak and Nhlangano .

The Eswatini Observer appears from Monday to Friday under its actual name, on Saturdays under the name Saturday Observer and on Sundays under the name Sunday Observer . After the country was renamed from Swaziland to Eswatini in 2018, the newspaper also changed its name from Swazi Observer to Eswatini Observer . According to the Eswatini Observer, the market share of the readership is around half of the print media market and is aimed at all age groups.
