The Etronics Corp. is a Korean manufacturer and exporter of electronic equipment .

history

Etronics Corp. was founded in 1978 in Seoul , South Korea under the name Shinbang Electronics as a manufacturer of electronic devices. In 1980, the Korean OEM consumer electronics manufacturer Inkel was taken over with its Sherwood brand . In 1996 the company merged with Haitai Electronics Corp. In January 2001 the company name was changed to Etronics.

The group now produces audio equipment for Philips , Harman / Kardon , Kenwood and Denon at 14 locations in China , Korea and Vietnam .

The group also sells its products under the brand names Sherwood and Inkel . Telephones , car hi-fi , keyboards and displays for consumers and the professional sector as well as household appliances are now also offered.
