Eucheir (painter)
Eucheir , also Euchir and Eucheiros ( ancient Greek Εὔχειρ or Εὔχειρος ) was a mythical Greek painter.
Eucheir is said to have been a cousin of Daidalus . His life data are therefore unknown. In Pliny a statement of is Aristotle handed, after Eucheir the inventor was painting. The attempted equation with the coroplast of the same name , also handed down from Pliny , who allegedly introduced clay sculpting in Etruria with his colleagues Eugrammos and Diopos from Corinth , is doubtful.
