Eudy Simelane

Eudy Simelane (born March 11, 1977 in KwaThema , Springs ; † April 28, 2008 ibid) was a South African national soccer player and activist of the LGBT movement. Simelane was same-sex oriented. She was raped and stabbed with a knife in April 2008. The court sentenced two of the four defendants to long prison terms, but without classifying the act as corrective rape .
