Eugène André Despois

Eugène André Despois (born December 25, 1818 in Paris , † September 23, 1876 ​​there ) was a French writer .

Life

Despois was a teacher of rhetoric in Bourges , later in Paris , and after the coup on December 2, 1851 by Napoléon III. resigned his position and devoted himself to literary work. From 1870 he was employed as a sub-librarian at the Sorbonne .
