Eugen Kramár

Eugen Kramár (born May 5, 1914 in Devičie ; † December 30, 1996 in Bratislava ) was a Slovak architect and university professor.

Kramár taught from 1947 to 1950 as a professor at the Technical University of Bratislava. He was politically persecuted in the 1950s and rehabilitated in 1967. Between 1971 and 1983 he designed a number of public buildings in Bratislava, including the Volksbank building and the main post office, the composer Ján Cikker's house , which is now used as a museum, and the FIS Hotel in the High Tatras .
