Eugen Radu (born April 16, 1978 in Tulcea ) is a former Romanian luge athlete .

Eugen Radu was a student and lives in Sinaia . He has been tobogganing since 1994. He has competed in the Luge World Cup in single-seater since the 1998/99 season . The best individual result in the World Cup was place 25 in Nagano in the 2006/07 season . The best result in the overall standings was 18th place in the 2000/01 season . At the 2001 World Luge Championships in Calgary Radu was 22nd, a year later 24th and at the Olympic Games in Salt Lake City he came 44th in the single-seater.

With Marian Tican he has also competed in the two-seater since the late 1990s. The best results were the 16th place at the Luge World Championships 2003 , 14 ( 2004 ) and 18 ( 2005 ). At the European Championships, 15th places in 2000 and 2006 were the best results. In the 1998/99 season, the doubles came 13th in the overall standings and achieved their best individual World Cup result with eleventh place. In the 2002/03 season, Radu / Tican were even 12th overall, in 2005/06, meanwhile with Marian Lăzărescu as a partner, 16th. At the Olympic Games in Salt Lake City, the double Radu / Tican, as well as the duo Radu / Lăzărescu four years later in Turin 15.
