Eugen Rosenfeld

Eugen Rosenfeld (born July 6, 1870 in Bromberg , † February 19, 1953 in Prague ) was a German painter .

Life

Eugen Rosenfeld studied from 1894 at the Munich Academy with Karl Raupp . He created landscape paintings in oil, often enriched with orientalizing motifs, as well as book illustrations in Art Nouveau . He also drew numerous portraits with chalk, pencil or red chalk, the most famous of which is a portrait drawing of the Munich cabaret artist Karl Valentin .
