Eugen von der Wiesche (born June 20, 1929 in Gevelsberg ; † November 26, 2018 ) was a German politician ( SPD ). From November 4, 1980 to December 20, 1990, he was a member of the German Bundestag for three electoral terms .

Life

Wiesche went to elementary school and then did an apprenticeship as a toolmaker , he passed the final exam in 1947. In 1946 he became a member of IG Metall. Until 1962 he was active in his profession, both as a worker and as a trainer. In the next period he was sent to various courses by the German Trade Union Federation and IG Metall. At the same time he also worked as a secretary at the German Trade Union Federation in Ennepe-Ruhr. Six years later he became chairman of this group.

Wiesche had also joined the SPD in 1946, shortly afterwards he became a member of the executive committee in the local subdistrict of the party. He also became a member of the federal board of the working group for employee issues . He was then a member of the Gevelsberg City Council from 1970 to 1979. In the subsequent federal election in 1980 he was elected to the Bundestag as a direct candidate for the constituency Ennepe-Ruhr-Kreis I , to which he also belonged for the next two legislative periods until 1990. For the first few years he was a full member of the Petitions Committee, and later even deputy chairman. He was also a deputy member of the Committee for Regional Planning, Building and Urban Development. After his political time, Wiesche was still on the board of the Allgemeine Ortskrankenkasse Ennepe-Ruhr and was on the administrative board at the employment office in Hagen until October 1986.
