Eugene Sensenig

Eugene Richard Sensenig-Dabbous (also Gene R. Sensenig , born February 17, 1956 in Harrisonburg , Virginia , USA ) is an Austrian-American historian and political scientist .

Life

Sensenig studied English and German literature, political science, and history in the United States ( Franklin & Marshall College , Goshen College ) and Austria. In 1984 and 1985 he received his master's and doctor's degree in philosophy from the Paris-Lodron University in Salzburg . He worked at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Laboratory History and the Gender Link Diversity Center, both in Salzburg, Austria, before moving to Lebanon in 1999 , where he taught political science. In Lebanon he is a researcher at the Emigration Research Center and a civil society activist in the areas of electoral reform, fair trade and full civil rights for women.
