Eumenes of Alexandria

Eumenes († 141 ) was Bishop of Alexandria from 131 until his death . According to the report of Eusebius of Caesarea , he was only able to take up his post as Justus' successor after a vacancy of “a year and a few months” . His term of office falls under the government of the emperors Hadrian and Antoninus Pius . Marcus II became his successor.
