Euphorbia caloderma is a species of the genus spurge ( Euphorbia ) in the family of Euphorbiaceae (Euphorbiaceae).

description

The succulent Euphorbia caloderma forms small and much branched shrubs. The spreading growth creates mats. The individual shoots are up to 1 meter long and 1 to 1.5 centimeters thick. They are clearly square, light green in color and variegated with dark, green spots that appear bronze in the sunlight. There are teeth 7 to 10 millimeters apart on the indented edges. The narrow triangular thorn shields are about 1.5 millimeters long and 2 millimeters wide and are located above the thorns. They are extended 8 to 10 millimeters downwards. Thorns up to 7 millimeters in length and secondary leaf thorns 1 to 1.5 millimeters in length are formed.

The inflorescence consists of single and almost sedentary cymes that are simply forked. The cyathia are about 4 millimeters long and 8 millimeters wide. The elongated nectar glands are orange in color and butt against each other. The ovary is almost sessile. Nothing is known about the fruits and seeds.
