Euphorbia davyi is a species of the genus spurge ( Euphorbia ) in the family of Euphorbiaceae (Euphorbiaceae).

description

The succulent Euphorbia davyi grows as a small shrub with a bulbous root. The root merges into the subterranean stem axis and a body with clearly protruding warts is formed, which reaches about 5.5 centimeters in diameter. The numerous branches are arranged in a circle around the central vegetation point and stand upright. They are 3.5 to 15 inches long and 2 inches wide. The branches are patterned by smaller but also distinct warts. The linear and short-lived leaves are up to 2.8 millimeters wide and 3.8 millimeters long.

The cyathia stand individually at the branch tips on 5 to 10 millimeter long stems and reach a diameter of 6 millimeters. Four to six bracts are formed on these long-lived stems . The individually standing nectar glands have two to three appendages about 1 millimeter long on their edges. The bluntly lobed fruit is sessile. Nothing is known about the seed.
