Euphorion (tragedy poet)
Euphorion was a son of the famous Greek tragedy poet Aeschylus . He brought his father's tragedies to the Athens stage posthumously four times , winning in 431 BC. Chr. In the competition ( Agon ) the first place, whereby he could beat such outstanding poets as Sophocles and Euripides from the field due to the extraordinary popularity of Aeschylus .
Euphorion himself emerged as a tragedy poet and wrote several dramas.
