Euro (own spelling: € uro ) is a monthly magazine published by Finanz Verlag in Munich with a focus on economics , politics and the stock market . Euro links reports on economic policy developments with corporate reporting, gives investment recommendations and tips on tax and insurance issues. The sold circulation is 43,136 copies, a decrease of 77.7 percent since 1998.

Until 2004, the magazine was called Finanz and gave the publisher its name. Then Finanz Verlag took over the already existing magazine Euro from the Handelsblatt publishing group and merged it with its own magazine to create the title Euro . Today's euro is thus in continuity with both finances and the first German-language consumer test magazine DM , which was founded in 1961 .

The first editor-in-chief of the merged paper was Holger Wiedemann. Today the fate of the magazine is determined by the editors-in-chief Jens Castner, Peter Macht and Markus Hinterberger.

The editorial office is in Munich.
