Finanzen.net is the financial portal of finanzen.net GmbH , a subsidiary of Axel Springer SE . It was founded in 2000, is considered the largest online finance portal in Germany and was spun off as an independent GmbH in 2010 .

In February 2020 the portal reached more than 5 million visitors (" Unique Users ") and 44.4 million hits ("Visits") with 297.8 million page impressions ("Page Impressions"). In addition to information on stocks , funds , certificates , bonds , foreign exchange and raw materials, there is also economic and financial news from the editorial staff of Finanz Verlag , which also publishes the magazines Euro and Euro am Sonntag . The finance portal is operated by finanzen.net GmbH based in Karlsruhe .

In January 2012 finanzen.net GmbH started an offshoot in Switzerland in cooperation with the Swiss investor magazine Stocks , which is published by Axel Springer Switzerland. In September 2012 finanzen.net GmbH announced the start of finanzen.at in Austria for the end of 2012. In November 2013 finanzen.net launched together with Axel Springer Russia a portal adapted for the Russian market under the name finanz.ru . Finanzen.net has also been operating the marketsinsider.com website for the US market since 2016 . The site has also been offering a brokerage service since 2016 . On March 1, 2019 started as a spin finanzen.net with the new brand OSKAR own ETF - savings plan . In June 2019 finanzen.net took a 44.4% stake in OSKAR. In March 2019, the finanzen.net GmbH founded together with the Stuttgart Stock Exchange and Axel Springer under the name BSDEX ( Stuttgart Stock Exchange Digital Exchange also a new trading platform) crypto currencies .
