Euro Dance Festival

The Euro Dance Festival is the largest dance festival in Europe. It takes place every spring in Germany and has been held since 2007. With the combination of dance workshops, shows and trade fair, this event offers a platform for dancers, trainers, choreographers and amateur dancers. From standard to Latin , Salsa , Discofox , Tango , Argentino , Swing , Hip-Hop and Breakdance , all dance styles are represented. Show programs, gala evenings and dance parties where dance professionals present their skills round off the six days of the event.

The dance festival is organized by the Gutmann Events GmbH & Co. KG agency, the Gutmann dance school and Europa-Park in Rust near Freiburg, which is also the venue. During the festival, up to 20 halls will be used simultaneously for the workshops.

The festival consists of dance workshops in theory and practice, trade fair and dance shows. Dance school owners from all over Europe meet for an exchange on the business day, which is part of the program.

Around 600 one-hour workshops per festival are taught by professional dancers, world champions, national and international trainers and choreographers. The course program includes all dance styles, current trends, figures and techniques as well as seminars on dance-related topics. Since 2008 all workshops have been classified in levels from one to four.

Current trends in fashion, lighting and sound technology and many other topics related to dancing will be presented in a separate area at the dance fair.

There will be an evening program on four of the six days of the festival. The world stars present their skills in dance shows at the parties and balls.

World champions of all classes and well-known TV couples, dancers such as Motsi Mabuse and Evgenij Voznyuk, Marcus Hilton, Joanna Leunis and Michael Malitowski, Karen Forcano and Ricardo Vega, Marcus Weiß and Isabel Edvardsson , Niels “Storm” Robitzky , Joachim Llambi , Tatiana Mollmann and Jordan Frisbee, Dmitry Zharkov & Olga Kulikova, Arunas Bizokas and Katusha Demidova are regular guests and teach the participating guests personally.
